Our website, found under the URLs www.morrisofa.com.hk, powered by Shopify. All references to “we”, “us” and “our” shall be deemed to be references to MorriSofa (HK) Ltd. and references to “you” and “your” shall be deemed to be references to persons placing an order via this website.

The following terms and conditions apply to all use of the MorriSofa website. By placing an order with us you agree to have read, understood and accepted to these terms and conditions. MorriSofa reserve the right, as these may be subject to change at any time without notice, it is your responsibility to check this page prior to any use or purchase. If you have any queries regarding our terms and conditions, please contact us before use or order placement.

  1. Description our products

    All products available for purchase are described on their specific product page on our website. We always try to represent as accurately as possible every characteristic of the products via photography and copy points provided by designers, suppliers or manufactures.

    We have a policy of continuous product development so we can provide you with what we consider the best design at the best price, and thus reserve the right to amend the specifications of products, their price, packaging and any service associated at any time, without prior notice. Before ordering, we thus invite you to have a close look at the product description and characteristics: we choose them with care in order to provide you with the best offer in the market, but every product is different and you have to make it yours.

    We do our best efforts to provide you with the best images and description, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that colors and details in website images are 100% accurate representations of the product, and sizes might in some cases be approximate.

    Even if not always mentioned, some self-assembly may be required on certain products.

  2. Sales

    If an order is delayed or is unable to be placed to the factory for any reason (manufacturing process trouble, quality control issue, or other quality or manufacturing issues), we would do our best to notify you. Should our products unable to produce a specific product matching quality standard, we would remove it as fast as possible from our website. Should you have placed an order for that specific product, you would be notified by phone call or email of the situation, your order would be cancelled and you would be reimbursed in full.

  3. Prices

    All prices are payable in Hong Kong dollar (HKD) and do not include any delivery costs. These additional prices will be added upon checkout before making payment and appear in your order confirmation page. Please note we also reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

  4. Purchase of products

    Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us once we have sent you an email order confirmation. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in an order confirmation email do not form part of that contract. The company shall under no circumstances be held liable for any special losses to specific circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or for loss of profits, damage or property, or wasted expenditure.

    Orders are placed and received exclusively via the Internet and processed by MorriSofa (HK) Ltd.

    Before ordering from us, it is your responsibility to check and determine your full ability to receive the products. This includes ensuring that the product ordered will pass freely into your room of choice, and that they fit in that room, can be transported through the lift of your building of house, the front door of your flat or room, stairs and doorways, and any other issues that could make the delivery more complicated or impossible to process. Up-to-date mobile phone number and e-mail address are absolutely necessary to ensure successful delivery of you item. All information asked on the checkout page must be filled in precisely and accurately. We will not be responsible for missed delivery because of wrong delivery address or an inappropriate phone number. All additional charges or costs due to delivery complications or missed delivery would thus be added to your order invoice.

    If you would you like to change the delivery address, notify change in a phone number or any other special requirements, please Contact Us at least 2 days before delivery. Any change to the order contract will have to be approved by MorriSofa, so we can advise you if the change(s) can be done and what would be the additional costs, if any.

  5. Payment

    Your credit card is charged for the whole amount of the order when the order is created. A credit card and necessary information is needed for payment. All orders are paid only through by credit cards in PayPal.     The sale will be submitted for processing as soon as you click on the “confirm” button. You will then receive an email from us to confirm the sale within 24 hours, availability of the product, and expected delivery service.

    If we are unable to supply you with a product, for example, because of out of stock or an error in the price we will inform you of this by email and we will not process your order. If you have already paid for the product we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.

    We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of refusing or by reason of unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

  6. Special order delivery

    Delivery lead time may vary depending on the products ordered. On-demand production model makes it vary from 1 to 8 weeks on average, also depending on the quantity of orders and on the vessel availability. This is only an average estimation, and some delivery can take longer, or alternatively be delivered much faster. All delivery estimates given at the time of placing and confirming order are subject to change. In any case, we will do our best to contact you and advise you of all changes.

    Depending on the item’s weight, size and quantity, different carriers and services might be used to deliver your order. In some specific cases, we will offer premium service for which the carrier will contact you and set up a mutually agreed upon delivery time.

    Please note that we will deliver to your door only when we can access the delivery point by lift. In case we are forced to use the stairs, our delivery company will charge you for that. In case there is a no show at the set delivery appointment and our team needs to come back to redo the delivery, we will charge you HKD250.

    We are minimizing self-assembly and most of our Sofa are ready to use. Some products may need assembled, our delivery team will not perform assembly on behalf of us.

  7. Service warranty

    Our sofa come with a 36 months warranty promise against manufacturing defects, unless specifically noted on the product, or for products from specific clearance sales.

    Exchange a same variant within the first 12 months would be implement (except malfunctional of the electrical parts). The next 24 months would be arranged by individual. The 36 months period starts from the date of purchase from MorriSofa. Further, this warranty only covers defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, excessive abuse or misuse by any user or modifications you made.

    The warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser and is void if your product was purchased from another person or an unauthorized dealer.

    Subjective problems like: the color does not match my wallpaper, or the cushion is too hard, will NOT be covered under this Service Warranty.

    Other service warranty arrangement:

    • Please contact your service location/or call +852 36116971 if there has materials or workmanship defects founding in stock received
    • Product exchange service within 12 months including malfunction of sofa structural and mechanical part
    • Home maintenance would be arranged for malfunction of electrical parts within 36 months service period
    • Customer needs to check accessories/consumables/outer parts in stock received
    • Checking fee would be charge in home visit or maintenance. The fee will be refund if defects found in materials and workmanship
    • Delivery service fee would be charge if the product need to return warehouse for maintenance except the first 12 months.

  8. Force majeure

    MorriSofa will not be in breach of its obligations to you if its performance is prevented or delayed by any one or more of the following events or circumstances (each, a “Force Majeure Event”): fire, flood, earthquake, tsunami, lightning strike, storm, hurricane, typhoon or other extreme weather conditions, epidemic, famine or other natural calamity, act of war (whether declared or undeclared), invasion, act of terrorism, blockade, embargo, riot, public disorder, insurrection, rebellion, civil commotion, sabotage, strike, lockout, work stoppage, labor dispute or other industrial action.

    If a Force Majeure event occurs, we will consult with you regarding an appropriate resolution to the problem, which may include a delay or extension of the delivery schedule or cancellation of your order and refund of your payment.

  9. Governing Law and Dispute resolution

    This agreement between MorriSofa and you are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China and each of the parties submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
